Waters premieres his "Williamsburg Concerto #6" for Chamber Orchestra. A triptych with six meta-layered tone "panels", the WC#6 postulates the belief that perhaps a cosmic music-literature still does exist where Bach, Copland, Feldman, Zorn, Parker, Dalachinsky, Auster, etc. can meet and mingle.

When a hysterical actress is panicking during intermission, she calls out to the Gods for help. Classic Greek and Shakespearean characters emerge from the shadows of the green room to help her clarify her character, accompanied by the original improvisational music of the sound painter.

Cellist Gil Selinger and pianist Evan Mazunik reinvent the classical tradition. Theirs is a truly radical music which reconnects classical music to its roots in improvisation. The integrity of this duo's process is birthed out of deep study of and respect for the music of the past. From Bach to Bartok, various composers inform and inspire their original improvisations.
